Change Ahead
Marijuana legalization has become a popular topic in this country within the most recent times. There are many different viewpoints on this subject, and it varies on where people stand with their opinions on the topic. This has become an extremely controversial issue in this country, and people cannot seem to agree on what exactly should take place regarding this popular matter. On one hand, you have old-school traditional Christians who feel that marijuana is an illegal and evil substance that should be kept out of the hands of the youth in this country. On the other hand, you have a group of liberals who wish to hand this substance out like candy to anyone who wishes to partake in its herbal essences. Regardless of which side you are on, you will be pulled in each direction by the propaganda produced by each group of people. You mustn’t fall victim to this clever propaganda and think for yourself to come up with your own conclusions on the topic to really dive deep into what this all means and what should really happen. There is a third group of people, however, who sits somewhere in the middle of all of this controversy and think that marijuana should be legal but with some restrictions to prevent the absolute abuse of the substance. There are some teams who are too immature to handle the the strong effects of this powerful herb, and perhaps they should be restricted from having access to it until they come of the legal age, such as the 21 drinking law.
Marijuana smokers have been targeted in this country for negative campaigns of slanderous propaganda that have analyzed them with jail time and other dehumanizing acts that should only be fit for criminals, not people that are safely using medical herbs in their own private home. This intrusion upon our human rights has sparked a wave of civil disobedience in this country where people refused to listen to with authorities and have risen up against this tyrannical governments with the ambition to overthrow it and rewrite the laws so that they benefit the people instead of the authorities in power. In recent years it has become clear that our government abuses its power, with the occupy Wall Street movement along with the tea party and other grassroots movements, one thing is clear: the people are severely upset at this government of ours and they will not rest until there has been some extreme changes implemented in our reckless system. One way to truly stand up and let your voice be heard in this country is to participate in small acts of civil disobedience and also to vote with your wallet, and only support small businesses run by everyday people like you and me. The thing that we must keep in mind, is that not everyone wants exactly what we want, and some of them may even have some investments to keep us from getting what we want to keep what they already have. There is an allusion that there is only so much to go around in this society, and while we do live on a finite planet this is an extremely narrow viewpoint. There are plenty of natural resources to be mind and utilized in ways that can benefit all of humanity. For example, the industrial crop hemp has many valuable uses and should be taken advantage of by our society and put to use in ways that could extremely benefit us and every single person that exists on the planet today. We could clothe the poor, feed the hungry, fuel the cars, and provide energy to every man that exists on the planet. If we could only get past these negative connotations that have been associated with this powerful plant then we could really advance of the society and reach the Dawn of a new civilization where we can live incoherence with each other and advanced in our communication skills to really allow us to express what we really feel deep down inside instead of always cloaking are true personalities within these opinions and purse on is that we make up to sit in and conform to this draconian rule that hangs above are people like a black cloud. If we can only get past this than some real change will take place once and for all.
